Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series are increasingly circulating on the internet. The flagship series is scheduled to launch on January 17 2024 in San Jose, United States.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Series is predicted to be the first ‘AI Phone’. Not much has been leaked about the system inside, but one of the features is said to be able to carry out real-time translations in text and voice formats.
With such sophistication, it is possible that the Galaxy S24 Series will be priced more expensively than the previous generation. However, the latest leak from South Korean media Hankyung brings good news.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series is said to be the same as the Galaxy S23 released earlier this year.
Each is priced starting at US$ 799 (Rp. 12.3 million) for the regular variant, US$ 999 (Rp. 14.5 million) for the Plus variant, and US$ 1,199 (Rp. 30.9 million) for the Ultra variant, quoted from Sammobile, Thursday (14/12/2023).
Prices will be more expensive for higher RAM and memory capacity models. However, it should be noted that the same price does not necessarily apply to all countries, including Indonesia.
According to Sammobile, Samsung’s strategy is not to increase prices to boost sales by 10%. Samsung targets sales of the Galaxy S24 to reach 33 million units.
One thing that makes Samsung able to maintain prices is the issue of using the Exynos 2400 chip in several countries. However, specifically for the Galaxy S23 Ultra variant, it will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in all markets.
This various information has not been directly confirmed by Samsung, so it cannot be trusted 100%. Let’s just wait until the launch next month!
