Just a few days ago, Samsung finally unveiled its 3 new smartphones, the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra, thus ending the suspense that had lasted for months. For a short time, Samsung allows you to pre-order one of its new Galaxy while taking advantage of cumulative promotions, thus making the smartphone very interesting.
It’s official, the new Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra have finally been made official by Samsung and they are coming to our hands very soon, from next February 16 for pre-orders, and February 17 otherwise.
Pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ from €809 at Samsung
Pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra from €1,269 at Samsung
As for the price to pay, we are very clearly on an inexpensive product and we are positioned at about the same level as Apple with its iPhone 14 and 14 Pro, but we will see a little later that it is possible to get out of it for less :
- Le Galaxy S23 128 Go : 959€
- Le Galaxy S23 256 Go : 1019€
- Le Galaxy S23+ 256 Go : 1219€
- Le Galaxy S23 + 512 Go : 1339€
- Le Galaxy S23 Ultra 256 Go : 1419€
- Le Galaxy S23 Ultra 512 Go : 1599€
- La Galaxy S23 Ultra 1 To : 1839€
If one of these smartphones interests you, we strongly advise you to place the pre-order rather than waiting for its release in stores. For what ? Quite simply because by doing so by February 16 at the latest, you benefit from 3 significant advantages:
- Samsung Care+ insurance is offered to you for 1 year by adding the option to the basket
- You benefit from a €150 trade-in bonus in addition to the trade-in price of your old smartphone/tablet
- You save up to 240€ by choosing a model that has twice the storage space
For example, if you have a Samsung Galaxy S20 5G 128 GB that you want to trade in to upgrade to a Galaxy S23+, Samsung grants you up to €165 + €150 for the trade-in of your device, i.e. €315. On top of that, the 512 GB version comes to you at the same price as the 256 GB version and you also benefit from free Samsung Care+ insurance for 1 year.
In this case, the new Galaxy S23 512 GB will have cost us €904 instead of €1339 with the addition of Samsung Care+ insurance offered for 1 year. In total, we save 520€ for the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S23+ 512 GB.
Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra: battery, autonomy, photo… What is Samsung’s new smartphone worth?
Samsung wants to mark this year 2023 and is not being delicate by presenting its brand new Galaxy S23 range with performances that promise to be monstrous. First of all, Samsung has resolved to finally abandon its Exynos house chip, which was only present in smartphones sold in Europe, in favor of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which allows it to benefit from better thermal management.
The new Samsung Glaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra all benefit from a beautiful AMOLED panel but depending on the model chosen, the size will vary. We will thus have 6.1 inches Full HD + for the Galaxy S23, 6.6 inches Full HD + for the Galaxy S23 + and finally 6.8 inches QHD + for the Galaxy S23 Ultra In terms of refresh rate, the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra are given a rate of 120 Hz. Note, however, that only the Galaxy S23 Ultra are equipped with an adaptive refresh rate, thus preserving the battery of the smartphone.
As for battery life, the Samsung Galaxy S23 has a 3900mAh battery, the Galaxy S23+ has a 4700mAh battery and for the Ultra version, Samsung has stuck with a 5000mAh battery. In short, depending on your use, you should be able to last at least a whole day without worry. As for charging, we still have 25W wireless and reverse wireless charging for the Galaxy S23 and S23+, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra will get 45W.
Let’s now look at the different photo modules of the new Samsung Galaxy there are quite a few new features to go up in reality except that the front camera now offers a 12Mpx sensor for the Galaxy S23 series against 10Mpx on the generation of Before. Otherwise, we will always have a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 50MP wide-angle and a 10MP telephoto lens. For the Galaxy S23 Ultra it’s all the same except that instead of taking advantage of a 50MP wide-angle, Samsung replaced it with a 200MP sensor.
As you will have understood, the new Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra promise to be high-performance smartphones in terms of power and will obviously not be outdone in video games. However, the prices remain quite high for once, which is why we can only advise you to pre-order them since you can benefit from a very nice price reduction by taking back your old smartphone or tablet.
As a reminder, the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra is set for February 17 in France.
