President and Head of Samsung MX TM Roh confirmed the company will be holding Unpacked in February with the agenda for the launch of the next Galaxy S smartphone series.
Event Samsung The next unpacked was confirmed by the President and Head of Samsung MX, TM Roh. Throughout the event, Samsung will announce the series Galaxy The latest generation S, which has recently been rumored to be released next month.
Reported from TechRadar (21/1), Roh recently posted a blog confirming the launch will take place in February. However, the announcement did not mention the date, only the month.
According to the leak, the event will take place February 9 and one source specifically predicts that the event will take place from 7 a.m. ET. Another leak reveals the Galaxy S22 will be released February 25th.
“At Unpacked in February 2022, we’re going to introduce you to the most important S series device we’ve ever built. The next generation of Galaxy S is here, bringing together our greatest Samsung Galaxy experiences into one ultimate device,” Roh wrote.
In his statement, Roh did not directly mention the S series referred to as the Galaxy S22. But according to TechRadar, the word “important” in his statement refers to the Galaxy S22 series which adopts features from the Galaxy Note line.
Roh added that the company is aware of how shocked users were at the absence of the Galaxy Note last year. He also mentioned that the Galaxy Note series offers high performance in terms of gaming, as well as things related to the S Pen.
In line with that, a number of leaks say the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a design that is more like the Galaxy Note series than its predecessor, Galaxy S21 Ultra. The phone is also expected to feature a special slot designed to store the S Pen.
