Samsung Galaxy S22 series is likely to be launched in the next few months. Prior to release, variant Galaxy S22 Ultra found dropping by on the benchmark platform Geekbench.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra that was tested on Geekbench this time uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Previously, the variant that uses the Exynos 2200 has also stopped by first.
There are two variants of the Galaxy S22 Ultra Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version whose performance was revealed on Geekbench, namely the variant with the code SM-S908N which is allegedly a unit for the South Korean market and SM-S908U which is probably for the United States market.
The SM-S908N and SM-S908U both run Android 12. But the SM-S908N variant looks to have 10GB of RAM, and the SM-S908U has 8GB of RAM. Previous leaks said the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have two RAM options namely 12GB and 16GB, so the accuracy of this leak is still uncertain.
From the benchmark results, Galaxy S22 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 recording a single-core score of 1,219 points. This performance is much better than the Exynos 2200 variant which recorded a score of 691 points.
But for multi-core tests the results are not much different. The Galaxy S22 Ultra variant that uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 recorded a score of 3,154 points, while the one carrying the Exynos 2200 scored 3,167 points, as quoted from GSM Arena, Sunday (12/12/2021).

Previously, Snoppytech tipster revealed the RAM and internal memory configuration options that the Galaxy S22 series will offer. The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ variants will carry 8GB of RAM with a choice of 128GB and 256GB of internal memory.
Meanwhile, the Ultra variant will come in 12GB + 128GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB configurations. the rumors, Galaxy S22 Ultra will also launch under the name Galaxy Note 22 Ultra.
It is not yet known when Samsung will launch the Galaxy S22 series. The latest rumors say Samsung will hold a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 8, 2022 and sales of the Galaxy S22 series will start 10 days after that.
