Samsung Galaxy S22 series launch reportedly delayed

Seoul, 24 Desember (IANS): South Korean tech giant Samsung is said to be planning to launch its upcoming flagship series ‘Galaxy S22’ early next year. However, a new rumor from South Korea is now saying that the phone is likely to be released later than scheduled.

The delay was said to be due to ongoing supply chain issues. Many smartphone brands have been hit by persistent chip shortages, reports GizmoChina.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 series are expected to begin on February 8 in South Korea. Sales are scheduled to begin around February 18th.

It is rumored that Samsung will release three devices – S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 will follow a vertical triple camera design in the top left corner on an island attached to the frame, and an LED flash on the right.

Samsung hopes to sell around 14 million units of the Samsung Galaxy S22. At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra are expected to hit the 8 million and 11 million figures, respectively.

The upcoming Indian version of the Galaxy S22 series will skip the next generation of Exynos in favor of the Snapdragon SoC for the first time in the region.
