Samsung Galaxy S21 is here, Galaxy S20 is no longer in production

JawaPos.com – The Samsung Galaxy S20 series flagship smartphone is not yet one year old in Indonesia. Presented in February 2020, now with the presence of the Galaxy S21 Series, the previous model S20 Series is sure to be ready to meet its final phase.

This was after Samsung said that they had stopped production of the Samsung S20 in Indonesia. Samsung Mobile Indonesia’s Product Marketing Manager, Taufiqul Furqan, said that the Galaxy S20 is only on the market. His party confirmed that it was no longer producing the cellphone anymore.

“If the question is for the Galaxy S20 and S20 Ultra, there are only stocks on the market, there is no new stock from Samsung itself,” said Taufiq during a virtual press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday (19/1).

Taufiq continued, currently, Samsung’s focus is only on the production of the Galaxy S21 Series and Galaxy S20 FE, which are actually the most affordable devices in the S20 family and were recently presented.

For information, Samsung has just released its newest series, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Series which consists of three variants, namely the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra. For the Indonesian market, currently only the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra variants are available.

Taufiq promised that the Galaxy S21 series will come to Indonesia in mid-February. “It doesn’t mean that we are putting aside the regular variant, but what we are focusing on is the S21 Plus and Ultra first,” he said.

For the pocket, the price for the Galaxy S21 Plus 5G starts from IDR 15,999,000.
