The first FE edition (‘Fan Edition’) of the mobiles in Samsung’s Galaxy S series, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, we called “Samsung’s mobile”.
It was a scaled-down version of Samsung’s absolute top models 2020, where the South Korean manufacturer had chopped off a heel and cut a toe to bring down the price, but at the same time retained the most important features and specifications (such as 5G, triple camera and 120 Hz screen).
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE was launched in the fall of 2020, and it was expected that Samsung would come to the fore again this year with a ‘Fan Edition’ of the Galaxy S21 series, but both September, October and November came and went without a trace of the expected Galaxy S21 FE model.
But despite the delay, the price-conscious premium mobile has not been forgotten or lost and now it should be in the starting pits. It writes the technology medium Sammobile.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE launches in Las Vegas
Sammobile believes it knows that the Galaxy S21 FE will be launched in early January 2022 in connection with the CES show in Las Vegas.
The mobile will be in store shortly after.
A couple of official illustrations of the mobile phone have already been leaked, which i.a. can be seen below as well as at the top of the article.
New processor and stronger screen
Sammobile has namely put the gloves on the specifications of the upcoming mobile, which in a few points has improved significantly compared to last year’s FE model.
Thus, the Galaxy S21 FE reportedly comes with Gorilla Glass Victus screen glass, where the predecessor had to settle for the half-aged Gorilla Glass 3 technology.
In addition, the S21 FE gets a Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 processor (depending on the market, in Scandinavia Samsung usually sells the models with the company’s own Exynos processor).
There will also be a 6.4 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, 6 or 8 GB RAM as well as 128 or 256 GB built-in storage and a 4500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging
The camera is again triple with resp. 12 megapixel wide angle, 12 megapixel ultra wide angle and 8 megapixel 3x telephoto lens. The selfie camera is 32 megapixels.
Last but not least, we can assume that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will come with Android 12 from the beginning. The price is not yet known.
