Galaxy S Ultra is currently the highest variant in the cellphone line Samsung. This cellphone also has a fairly large size, but the latest rumors say Samsung is working on a mini version of the Galaxy S Ultra.
According to rumors from South Korea via tipster Tech_Reve, Samsung is considering a cellphone with features equivalent to the Galaxy S Ultra but smaller in size.
With a combination of high-end specifications and a smaller size, this cellphone is expected to help Samsung compete against the iPhone Pro line, such as the iPhone 15 Pro which has a 6.1 inch screen.
Currently, the Galaxy S Ultra competes directly with the iPhone Pro Max. Both have similar sized screens (Galaxy S23 Ultra 6.8 inch vs. iPhone 15 Pro Max 6.7 inch) and always carry the highest features and specifications. But Samsung doesn’t yet have a model that competes with the iPhone Pro.
Furthermore, the rumor says this small version of the Galaxy S Ultra will be launched as part of the Galaxy FE line. This information is quite confusing because so far the Galaxy FE has lower specifications than the regular Galaxy S.
The small version of the Galaxy S Ultra is reportedly still in the early development phase. This rumor also claims Samsung Haven’t made a decision about this phone yet and plans may change in the future.
Apart from that, this rumor also states that Samsung will change the design of all its cellphones after launching the Galaxy S25 series. This means that starting with the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung will probably launch cellphones with significant design changes.
It is also claimed that the South Korean cellphone vendor will cut the Galaxy A series, which may mean that Samsung will launch fewer Galaxy A variants, as quoted from SamMobile, Friday (15/12/2023).
