Samsung Galaxy M55 5G vs Galaxy A55 5G: A Detailed Comparison of Specifications and Features

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Samsung recently released the Galaxy M55 5G. This middle class cellphone offers fast performance and charging.

However, there are several minor differences between the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G and the Galaxy A55 5G.

One of the prominent differences is usage chipset Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, instead of Samsung’s own Exynos 1480.

These two processors have their respective advantages. Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 has a more powerful CPU capability, while the Exynos 1480 features an AMD GPU which is a significant improvement from the previous Exynos series.

This Android phone has the same 5,000mAh battery as the Galaxy A55 but features 45W wired charging, unlike the A55 5G which only supports 25W charging.

Another difference is that the M55 5G is only available in an 8GB/256GB model in Brazil compared to the A55 which comes in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB capacities.

The Galaxy M55 5G also features a 50MP selfie camera. This resolution is greater than the Galaxy A55 which has a 32MP sensor.

Apart from that, this Samsung cellphone is equipped with a trio of 50MP rear cameras, with 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro.

Other notable features include a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display (FHD+), an under-display fingerprint sensor, One UI 6.1 on top of Android 14, and the promise of four major OS updates and patch security for five years.
