Galaxy M11 official: these are the specifications
Samsung’s M line already consisted of the Galaxy M21, Galaxy M31s and new ones Galaxy M51 (which has not yet been officially announced for the Netherlands). The brand new Galaxy M11 is cheaper than the aforementioned models and therefore has less good hardware. We list the most important specifications:
- 6.4 inch LCD screen with HD resolution
- Large 5000 mAh battery, charging with 15 Watt
- 32GB storage memory with micro-SD slot
- Octacore processor with 3GB of RAM
- Fingerprint scanner on the back
- 8 megapixel-selfiecamera
- Regular camera, wide angle lens and depth sensor on the back
The smartphone is made of plastic and has the selfie camera in a hole in the screen. We mainly know this technology from more expensive devices, but it is now seeping through to budget models. Furthermore, the Galaxy M11 has a fingerprint scanner on the back, with the triple camera on the left above it.
The primary camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels. There is also a 5 megapixel wide-angle camera available to take group photos or to get a better view of large buildings. You use the 2-megapixel depth sensor to blur the background on a photo.
Samsung ships the Galaxy M11 with Android 10 and does not mention an update policy. The manufacturer usually provides its affordable smartphones with updates for two years, which would mean that the M11 at least Android 11 receives.
Galaxy M11 release in October
