Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55: Release Date, Specs, and Rumors

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia It is indicated that Samsung will launch the Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G series in the near future. The latest leak reveals that the two mid-range cellphones have been registered with several certification bodies.

Both have also appeared on the Ministry of Industry’s TKDN website with the model names SM-A356E and SM-A556E. Each of them has pocketed TKDN of 40.30% and 37.60%.

Rumors say the Galaxy A53 will be equipped with a 25W charging feature. According to leaks on the GeekBench benchmark testing site, this cellphone scored 697 points for single-core and 2,332 points for multi-core.

Reportedly, the Galaxy A53 will be powered by the Exynos 1380 paired with 6GB RAM. This cellphone runs on the Android 14 operating system coated with One UI.

The screen measures 6.6-inch AMOLED type with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

On the back side there is a triple camera configuration, with a 50MP main lens. While the front uses a 32MP selfie camera.

Then, the Galaxy A55 is also reported to support 2W fast charging. This cellphone uses a 6.5-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The internals use an Exynos 1480 with graphics from AMD. The battery is 5,000 mAh. The main camera is 50MP combined with 12MP (ultrawide) and 5MP (macro). Meanwhile, the selfie function is supported by a 32MP camera.

These two cellphones are said to be launched around April to June 2024. However, these various leaks cannot be 100% trusted because there has been no direct confirmation from Samsung. Let’s just wait!
