Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55: Features and Repairability Comparable to Galaxy S24

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Galaxy A35 and A55 will reportedly have features similar to the Galaxy S24. The two middle class cellphones have better repair features.

Based on reports Galaxy ClubSamsung France said the A35 has a device repair capability with a score of 8.5 out of 10. While the A55 is 8.4, quoted from Android CentralThursday (15/2/2024).

Both scores are better than their predecessors. The Galaxy A34 has 8.3 points and the Galaxy A54 has 8.4 points.

France has a policy so that companies can be open about their repair capabilities. This has been done since 2021.

The country also issued mandatory labels on devices regarding ease of repair. These labels are attached to devices such as smartphones and laptops.

The information covers five categories, taking into account parts availability, repair manuals and required tools.

Based on reports Sam Mobile, the Galaxy A55 has a higher repairability score for several reasons. One of them is because fewer tools are needed.

Apart from that, cellphone parts are easier to remove. Lastly is the availability of spare parts long enough to meet European regulations.

Android Central says disassembling the Galaxy A35 is more difficult than the A34. But the phone makes up for it in other areas and scores better repairability points than its predecessor.

So far there is no information on when the A35 and A55 will be revealed to the public. However, it is expected to have a repair rate as high as the Galaxy S24 series.
