KOMPAS.com – Opening 2024, Samsung launched its new cellphone in Indonesia, Friday (5/1/2024). The cellphone is the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G. This smartphone is the successor to the Samsung A24 which was launched in April 2023.
Compared to its predecessor, the Samsung A25 5G brings a number of improvements, including the hardware aspect. The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G is powered by an Exynos 1280 chip, different from its predecessor which was powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chip.
Because of this difference, the Samsung Galaxy A25 supports 5G connectivity. This is different from the Galaxy A24 which only supports 4G.
Apart from that, the Samsung A25 5G also offers a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz, higher than its predecessor’s 90 Hz. Another improvement is the ultrawide camera resolution of 8 MP, greater than the Galaxy A24, which is 5 MP.
The design can be said to be exactly the same as both the front and back. Because they both pack an Infinity-U notch screen and three rear cameras arranged in a row in the top left corner of the phone’s back.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G specifications in Indonesia
The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G appears with a 6.5 inch Super AMOLED screen, Full HD Plus resolution, accompanied by a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This cellphone screen is also equipped with a brightness of up to 1,000 nits, so it is claimed to be 174 percent brighter than its predecessor.
Samsung has also added a vision booster feature which is claimed to display content on the screen clearly, even under outdoor lighting.
In terms of hardware, the Samsung A25 5G is powered by the Exynos 1280 System on Chip (SoC). This chip is combined with two RAM and storage options, namely 8 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/256 GB. Users can also install a microSD to expand storage capacity up to 1TB.
In terms of camera, this smartphone is equipped with three rear cameras consisting of a 50 MP main camera with OIS stabilization feature, an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 2 MP macro camera.
There is also a 13 MP front camera, placed in the notch of the cellphone. This camera can be used to support selfie activities or video calls.
Samsung has also added a series of photography support features. Some of them are the AI Image Enhancer feature which is claimed to improve the quality of photos to make them better.
There is also an Object Eraser feature to help users remove shadows or reflections that may be captured in photos. The Samsung A25 5G is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25 watt fast charging.

This smartphone is coated with Samsung’s latest interface, namely One UI 6. Thanks to this UI support, the Samsung A25 5G also has an Auto Blocker feature which will protect the device and the data on it from installing illegal applications. This feature will also check for malware and block dangerous activities.
Other features on this smartphone include 5G connectivity, a fingerprint on the side of the cellphone, and stereo speakers.

The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G comes in three color options, namely black blue, blue and yellow. Samsung A25 5G can be purchased by consumers in Indonesia starting today, Friday (5/1/2024). The price of the Samsung A25 5G in Indonesia is as follows.
