Samsung is preparing to update the Galaxy A range which, let’s remember, is made up of mid-range smartphones. Indeed, the Galaxy A24 should soon make its debut on the market. According to rumors, the device should cost around 200 €, which would place it among the terminals with an excellent quality-price ratio in 2023. The question is to know what the Galaxy A24 will offer us in terms of design and technical setup.
In this regard, the WinFuture site recently shared photos as well as technical details that should be of interest to fans of the South Korean brand.
A 6.5 inch screen?
According to WinFuture, the Samsung Galaxy A24 will adopt an elegant and modern design with the program a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The screen would house a teardrop notch, which would house a 13MP front camera similar to that of the Galaxy A34.
On the back of the phone would be a photo module comprising three sensors : a main sensor of 50 megapixels, an ultra wide-angle of 13 megapixels as well as a macro lens of 2 megapixels. Judging by the photos provided by the aforementioned media, the design of the rear photo compartment should not change too much from that of the previous generation.
A Mediatek Helio processor?
Under its hood, the Galaxy A24 would be equipped with a processor MediaTek Helio G99 along with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage expandable via microSD card. It would draw its energy from a 5000mAh battery compatible with a speed of charge de 25W. Software-wise, it would run Android 12 with Samsung’s custom interface.
Samsung has yet to announce the official release date of the Galaxy A24, but it should be soon. Indeed, the terminal has already been seen on the official Samsung website in India, which suggests a more or less imminent launch.
