Galaxy A22 4G

As its name implies, the Galaxy A22 4G is still limited to offer support for old-generation networks, something that may be suitable for the vast majority of the global population that only seeks a good device that can last a long time.

By not having to worry about adding a higher cost processor, Samsung adopts a MediaTek Helio G80 chip, highlights the 6.4-inch Super AMOLED technology screen offering support for 90 Hz refresh rate and bets on up to 6 GB of RAM memory with up to 128GB of storage.

For cameras, the A22 4G adopts a 13 MP front sensor and four rear ones: the main one with 48 MP, one with 8 MP for ultrawide lens and two others with 2 MP each, one with macro lens and the other for depth sensor. The model’s battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh with a simple charge of 15W.

Galaxy A22 5G

The Galaxy A22 5G has some improvements and some losses compared to the previous model. The screen is now bigger, at 6.6 inches, but it adopts an IPS technology panel instead of AMOLED and loses the high refresh rate, keeping only 60 Hz.

The chip is upgraded to the more powerful Dimensity 700 enabling 5G support, now offering up to 8GB of RAM with up to 128GB of storage. Because of this, Samsung reduced the resolution of the front camera to 8 MP and adopted three rear cameras: the main one remains with 48 MP, but the ultrawide one offers 5 MP resolution and the third sensor has only 2 MP and is for depth of field .

The Galaxy A22 5G maintains a 5,000 mAh battery with a 15W charge, in addition to using the same biometric sensor on the side integrated into the power button.

The Galaxy A22 5G will launch in Europe in July in four color options: Violet, Mint, White and Grey. The suggested retail price for the entry-level model, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, will be €229, or approximately R$1,400.

The Galaxy A22 4G will also hit the market in four colors: Violet, Mint, White and Black, but the company has not yet confirmed the launch date or price.

As expected, the launch of the devices in the Brazilian market is still unknown.
