Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A11 in May 2020 with a Snapdragon 450 chipset and a 6.4-inch HD main screen.
Last year, the Galaxy A11 got Android 11 and now the phone runs Android 12.
The package includes firmware version A115FXXU3CVI3 and also introduces a security patch, which addresses “dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities”.
Android 12 on the Galaxy A11 has a Core 4.1 UI on top. This means that the phone will have the Color Palette feature, improved widgets and the way the user chooses it.
The audio output device can now be selected via the lock screen, and dark mode includes minor improvements, according to gsmarena.
All stock apps of the Galaxy A11 have been improved, the camera app has a cleaner design, the gallery is in a better order, the Samsung keyboard has Grammarly support, the share menu is correct.
The update is currently being rolled out for devices in Southeast Asia, but will be rolling out to other versions soon. It can also be found in Settings, then Software Update, then Download and Install.
The phone has a 6.4-inch LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1560 and a perforated selfie camera on the top left (8MP unit with f / 2.0 aperture).
On the back we find a 13 megapixel main camera with f / 1.8 aperture, 5 megapixel f / 2.2 and a 2 megapixel f / 2.4 depth sensor.
The Galaxy A11 has a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and a 4000mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging.
