In November of last year, we found a report that claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S20 (previously rumored as S11) will be revealed on February 11. Well, an official-looking promotional video that leaked online confirms that the Fold 2 and the Galaxy S20 will be made official on February 11 at an event that will take place in New York or San Francisco.
The clip does not explicitly mention which phones Samsung will present on February 11, but the video includes the word “Galaxy” with both “a” replaced by blocks, probably hinting at two releases.
The filtering would come from Samsung’s own website, which published a promocinal video that announces the date of the next Samsung Unpacked event, a video that the user @MaxWinebach of XDA managed to save to publish it on social networks. The first block, according to Max Weinbach of XDA, looks like the camera shot of the Galaxy S20 Ultra, while the second probably makes fun of the Galaxy Fold 2. You can check out the video below.
Samsung has not yet officially announced the event on February 11, but now that the advance was leaked, it should not be long before the Korean giant confirms the event with its time and location.
