(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Oh Gyu-jin = Samsung Electronics[005930]announced on the 4th that it will introduce the entry-level smartphone ‘Galaxy A25 5G’ to the domestic market.
The application processor (AP), which acts as the brain, is equipped with the ‘Exynos 1280′ from Samsung Electronics’ System LSI Division.
The 164.2 mm (6.6 inches) super active organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) display supports a screen refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and 1,000 nits brightness.
An ‘eye protection function’ that reduces exposure to visible blue light has also been added.
The rear features a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and video image stabilization (VDIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The front camera is 13 million pixels.
The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh and supports up to 25W wired charging.
The built-in memory is 128GB, and a micro SD card can add up to 1TB.
In addition, personal information such as passwords, biometrics, and authentication keys are safely stored in a separate physical space with the proprietary chipset security platform ‘Samsung Nox Vault’.
The design stands out for its unique pattern and haze finish, and is available in three colors: yellow, light blue, and blue black.
Starting on the 5th, it will be sold as a self-sufficient model along with a subscription model for the three telecommunication companies. The price is 449,900 won.
