Samsung Electronics’ ‘C Lab Outside’ Contest: Discover and Support Innovative Startups in Korea

Samsung Electronics is looking for new startups to lead ‘K-Innovation’.

Until August 18th, Samsung Electronics is holding the ‘C Lab Outside’ contest to discover and nurture innovative startups and contribute to vitalizing the domestic startup ecosystem.

This contest, which is being held for the 6th time, is the first time that C Lab Outside Seoul, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and Gwangju will be held simultaneously in four regions to discover promising startups nationwide.

Anyone registered as a corporation in Korea at the investment stage Series B or lower can apply on the ‘Samsung C Lab’s website.

In particular, the existing support qualifications, which were limited to companies founded less than 5 years ago, have been expanded to start-ups at the investment stage of Series B or lower starting this year, enabling support not only for start-ups in the early stages but also for start-ups in the full-fledged business expansion stage. .

This contest seeks startups with next-generation innovative technologies in eight fields: ▲AI ▲Contents & Service ▲Digital Health ▲IoT Device ▲Mobility ▲Robotics ▲Materials & Parts ▲ESG.

Recruitment fields were selected by reflecting global technology trends and technologies that can lead positive changes in society. This year, materials & parts fields were added, and AI and digital health fields were expanded.

Early this year, Samsung Electronics launched C Lab Outside Gwangju, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk one after another and established a C Lab Triangle Belt, taking the lead in creating a full-fledged local startup ecosystem, revitalizing the local economy, and creating quality jobs.

Among the startups selected for ‘C Lab Outside’, startups with potential for business ties with Samsung Electronics will be given opportunities to actively cooperate in business and attract investment through business meetings with the relevant divisions and PoC (Proof of Concept). provides
