Jakarta (ANTARA) – Samsung Electronics Co. suspected to have been hacked by a foreign hacker group, in violation of classified source codes and other classified data, industry sources and media reports said Saturday (5/3).
Quoted by Yonhap, Sunday, data extortion entity Lapsus has claimed that it hacked the systems of the South Korean tech giant.
They also leaked up to 190 gigabytes of data and its source code online, according to the source.
It is also said that the entity uploaded the leaked data for download via torrent. Samsung officials said they were currently assessing the situation.
