Team RSP from XLRI Jamshedpur emerged as ‍the national winner, impressing the jury with​ their innovative strategy to boost consumer engagement.”We were‍ thrilled to win Samsung E.D.G.E. 2023,” said team member Pranjali Bhatia. “Our idea‌ focused on using brand ‍mascots, geo-targeting, Gen MZ hotspot tagging, and mall⁤ activations to create deeper ‍consumer connections and drive engagement through⁢ innovative, localized, and personalized experiences.”

Team​ RSP’s ⁢winning strategy earned them a cash prize‍ of INR‍ 450,000, Samsung’s flagship smartphones, and pre-placement offers ⁣from Samsung.

Team ​Chevy67,‍ also from XLRI, Jamshedpur, secured the first runner-up position with a strategy focused on driving adoption and creating an interconnected, future-ready ecosystem for the smart home‍ market.Their proposal‌ aimed to streamline the user experience globally by⁤ guiding consumers ‍in their⁢ purchase journey. The team was awarded a cash prize of INR 300,000.

Team Pheonix from the indian Institute of Foreign Trade,⁣ Calcutta, ⁣finished as the second runner-up. Their ⁢forward-thinking ideas⁢ involving ‘Spin to Win’ Smart ‌QR Codes and ‘Infinite⁣ experiences with Sustainable Design’ aimed to elevate brand engagement through experiential⁣ retail and sustainability.⁢ The team focused‌ on leveraging innovative marketing and⁢ product ⁢strategies to create deeper⁤ connections with consumers while ensuring a future-ready experience for a global audience.

All finalists received personalized mentoring and guidance from Samsung leaders,providing them with valuable insights and experience to further develop their proposed solutions.

This year’s competition saw a remarkable turnout, with 5,713 teams initially registering. After a rigorous selection process,‌ 1,432 teams⁢ advanced ‌to the Campus Round, where they honed their analytical and​ problem-solving skills by crafting executive case summaries. The competition intensified as 59 teams progressed‌ to the regional round, presenting comprehensive solutions to complex business scenarios. only​ the ‌top eight teams earned a coveted spot in the ⁤national round, receiving invaluable one-on-one mentorship from Samsung leaders before ‍presenting their final ideas to​ a panel of experts.
