A little over a month ago, Apple finally unveiled its Vision Pro augmented reality glasses, which pleasantly surprised even non-Apple fans. These smart glasses offer a unique user experience in many ways and at the same time make other manufacturers think about their plans to release such a device. One of them is “Samsung”, which, seeing how masterful smart glasses “Apple” plans to launch on the market, has stopped the production of its glasses and plans to make changes in their development.
Samsung had planned to launch its mixed reality glasses on the market in February 2024. But now he has decided to temporarily stop their production and release them three to six months later than expected. Therefore, we can expect something from Samsung’s smart glasses segment only in the summer of next year.

The main reason behind the production halt of the device is that Samsung has decided to revise the specifications and design of its mixed reality glasses due to Apple Vision Pro specifications. Perhaps the South Korean manufacturer plans to borrow a more successful solution from Apple’s glasses and integrate it into its own.
It is true that “Apple” is also not going as smoothly as it would like with its “Vision Pro” production. Due to the lack of parts, it will initially be possible to purchase them only after prior reservation. It is planned that the first users could get them in the first half of next year.
