Samsung may choose to launch the Galaxy S23 FE later this year, according to Korean media. This would indicate the big return of this model, which was launched in 2022. This phone has all the ingredients to become the king of the market in the category of mid-range phones.
The Galaxy S23 FE, or Fan Edition, may hit the market in 2023, according to Korean media outlet Hankooki (via SamMobile). This version will return after a year of absence. The Galaxy S FE has been around since 2020 and offers a “lighter” and cheaper version of the higher-end model.
According to the site, Samsung will opt to launch the Galaxy S23 FE but will skip the Galaxy A74, which will logically be positioned in the same price bracket. Logical strategy, the S brand has more consumer appeal.

Samsung could bring back the FE model in 2023
The first Galaxy S FE model was launched in 2020: it was the Galaxy S20 FE, which is a revised and patched version of the S20 released a few months ago and on top of all that is much cheaper. The manufacturer has also sold more than 10 million copies.
In early 2022, Samsung tried again with the Galaxy S21 FE. However, the device was sold at a much higher price, approaching the price of the classic Galaxy S21. Moreover, it was released at the same time as the S22, which completely confused the buyers. For this reason, sales have not been as impressive as the S20 FE.

Due to a shortage of semiconductors, Samsung chose not to launch the Galaxy S22 model in Samsung Galaxy S22. According to SamMobile, the S23 FE will not be equipped with an Exynos 2300 processor, but with a chip from Qualcomm, either Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. But the most important question is, if the S23 FE makes it to us, will it maintain the same price? Because due to its affordable price, the S20 FE was a huge hit for its time.
