Samsung Art Store Collaborates with The Metropolitan Museum of Art to Bring Iconic Works of Art to The Frame

From Van Gogh to ancient Egypt, Samsung Art Store users can choose from 38 renowned works of art

Samsung Electronics announced that it is collaborating with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to bring some of the museum’s most recognized works of art to The Frame. The Met’s selection of iconic artworks will be unveiled today in the Samsung Art Store1, allowing The Frame users to transform any space by displaying more than 2,300 works of art, including works by the artists, museums and tastemakers most distinguished in the industry.

Samsung Art Store users can choose from 38 works from a wide range of The Met’s historic curatorial departments, including American Art, Asian Art, Egyptian Art, European Paintings, Islamic Art and further. The offering features high-resolution digital reproductions of renowned works of art from a variety of cultures and time periods found at The Met.

Samsung Art Store users can display their beloved works of art in their homes, including “Rehearsal of a Ballé on the Stage” by Edgar Degas (circa 1874); “The Sunflowers” ​​by Vincent van Gogh (1887); “Still Life with Apples and a Pot of Primroses” by Paul Cézanne (ca. 1890); and “The Circus” (“Parade du Cirque”) by Georges Seurat (1887-1888). Owners of The Frame can also display ancient artifacts such as an Egyptian wedjat eye amulet2 (circa 1070-664 BC) and medieval treasures such as “The Unicorn Rests in a Garden” (1495-1505), the famous French textile and from southern Holland of the Unicorn Tapestries.
