Samsung announced the Galaxy A42 5G two days ago, which it said: It is the cheapest of its phones that support 5G networks.
This happened during the company’s virtual event called Life Unstoppable, which was held simultaneously with the IFA Virtual Electronics Show in Berlin.

The company said during its presentation: The Galaxy A42 5G is the cheapest 5G phone so far, and the Galaxy A42 5G is the latest device from the A series. Although the company did not disclose the price, it was the Samsung branch in Germany that revealed the price.
The company said on its German blog: The Galaxy A42 5G will be available in Europe in November for 369 euros ($ 435), in three colors: black, white and gray. The phone offers four rear cameras with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen.
If the phone were to be launched at this price, then it would be the cheapest 5G phone from Samsung, not the cheapest 5G phone in the world, as Realme released Realme V3 earlier this month that supports 5G networks and starts at only $ 146 and comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor.
The phone offers a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. It also provides random access memory (RAM) size of 6 GB or 8 GB and internal storage capacity of 64 GB or 128 GB.
Although it is low-end, its battery capacity is 5000 mAh, with support for 18W fast charging technology.
There are three cameras on the back of the phone. The main resolution is 13 megapixels with f / 2.2 lens slot, the second and third resolutions are 2 megapixels with f / 2.4 lens slots for each, and the front camera comes with 8 megapixels with f / 2.0 lens slot.
