Samsung and Xbox team up to offer unique gaming experiences at Microsoft Experience Centers in London and New York

Samsung and Xbox team up with gaming arenas, Microsoft Experience Centers, in London and New York, offering unique gaming experiences on Samsung screens.

Samsung Electronics unveiled a new free “Gaming Zone” featuring Samsung displays in collaboration with Xbox at the Microsoft Experience Centers in London and New York.

In June 2022, Microsoft’s Xbox joined the Samsung Gaming Hub,[1] the world’s first smart TV platform to include the Xbox App on Smart TVs.[2] With this partnership, Samsung Gaming Hub users can now stream more than 100 high-quality games through the Xbox App by subscribing to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

To bring the experience to more gamers, Samsung Electronics has partnered with Microsoft to introduce a dedicated space where gamers can play their favorite Xbox titles on the Samsung Gaming Hub. Several Samsung Smart TVs and gaming monitors were installed in the Microsoft Experience Center to offer an exciting and unique gaming experience.

The Gaming Zone, in both London and New York, at the Microsoft Experience Centers on Regent Street and Fifth Avenue, features three dedicated gaming areas featuring a wide range of Samsung gaming screens[3] so that everyone can enjoy, both experienced gamers and those new to cloud gaming.

The three playgrounds are:

  • Cloud Gaming Zone: It has a 55-inch Neo QLED Smart TV for streaming games through the Samsung Gaming Hub. Visitors can instantly play top games from Xbox and other partners with no downloads, storage limits, or console required. Just turn on the TV and play.
  • Living Room Zone – featuring 98-inch Neo QLED 4K HDR Smart TVs in London and an 85-inch Neo QLED 8K TV at the store entrance in New York.
  • Tournament Zone – featuring Odyssey G3 Gaming 24-inch monitors (London) and Odyssey G5 Gaming 27-inch monitors (New York) giving gamers the option to play in the Xbox app or on the Xbox console, providing versatility to all players players.

Powered by Tizen, Samsung Gaming Hub is an all-in-one game streaming discovery platform that unites hardware and software for a better player experience. Instantly play thousands of games from Xbox, Amazon Luna, NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Utomik, with Antstream Arcade and Blacknut in 2023.[4]

Samsung Gaming Hub is the new home for gaming and entertainment with Twitch, Spotify and YouTube Gaming integration offering gamers easy access to enhance their experience. No storage limits, no downloads, no console or PC required – all gamers need is a Bluetooth-enabled gamepad and an internet connection to start playing.

[1] Samsung Gaming Hub is only available in certain countries: Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, United States, and the United Kingdom. In other European countries, cloud gaming apps can be downloaded from the TV App Store and accessed through the Samsung Smart Hub.
