Born in 1991, already with 246 appearances, 39 goals and 40 assists in Serie A, Sansone will arrive in Salento tomorrow where, on Monday, he will undergo the ritual tests with Saverio Sticchi Damiani’s club. The former international – 3 appearances for the Azzurri, collected under the guidance first of Conte and then of Ventura – will take the place vacated by Federico Di Francesco who, after the (decisive) goal in the first round against Lazio, said goodbye to the Apulians to move to Palermo. Tomorrow, Sansone will turn 32: he will celebrate his birthday by signing the new contract, which should tie him to Lecce until June 2025.
