Entrepreneur Sampo Kaulanen is building a holiday resort in Ylläki that will cost millions of euros. According to Sampo, the vacation destination named Jänkä Resort is a 30 million euro project.

According to Sampo’s estimate, the first phase of the resort will be completed by the end of 2025.

The former village merchant posted a video on Instagram that he filmed from the construction site of the resort. He says in the publication that the construction of the Resort started today, August 19.

– Mintu and I are here at the construction site for the villas of the future Jänkä Resort. Forest thinning is underway here, Sampo says in a video shot of himself in the middle of the construction site. Wife Minttu Kaulanen is also involved at the site.

Sampo says that the first part of the resort alone will cost around 6 million euros. The first part includes 13 holiday homes and 52 beds.

– There will be 52 beds and 13 villas here.

– This is a project of around 6 million euros, which is part of our 30 million resort project, he reveals.

The amenities of a luxury destination

The entrepreneur says that he trusts the attraction of Lapland and Ylläs, which will surely attract people from abroad as well. The place where the resort will be built is a plot of about 35 hectares.

– In the background you can see horse stables and farms all over the world. We have 35 hectares of land here, Sampo says in the video.

The publication says that the amenities related to the resort’s villas will be properly invested.

– A skylight for viewing the northern lights directly from bed, a sauna with whirlpools, and automated toilets with washing and drying functions purchased especially for Asian guests are part of the standard equipment of every Housing Unit, says Sampo.

The resort is also said to have a horse stable.

The rear is visible again

Sampo is sure that the resort costing millions is becoming a success. He also wanted his wife to confirm his thoughts.
