The San Francisco Cultural Center is one of the most visited places this summer season, next to the Historic Solar of Sarmiento.

The Culture Program continues with a marked action to promote cultural tourism. Samples of different local artists and recreational activities have been arranged, such as artistic interventions in the open air.
The director of the Cultural Center and the Historic Site, Marcelo Vivas, highlighted that these actions are carried out with preventive health care such as physical distancing, use of a chinstrap and traceability, and explained, “We are taking care of ourselves, and the visitors, following all the protocols for these artistic interventions that are carried out in the different houses and museums, also in places that are intangible heritage such as the characteristic and picturesque landscapes of our town ”.
“Artists from the region participate in these activities and we are going to continue with what was the success of the Peñita de las Sierras Puntanas, with the presence of all the artists of the department who joined during the year and with a final closing with a luxury streaming. We will also continue with face-to-face and virtual exhibitions, in addition to the workshops that started recently, but which will begin to function normally as of the week of February 14, ”concluded Vivas.
