Data associated with Biological Resources will also be kept: technical data of the sample (quantity, volume, storage conditions, etc.), personal data from your medical file allowing you to understand the context of the sample (age, sex, pathology, ongoing treatment, etc.).

These data provide essential information for conducting research. These personal data associated with your samples are processed in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (RGPD) and Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 known as “Data Protection Act” modified.

The results of this research may be published in scientific journals and/or give rise to patent filings.

It is understood that any reuse of these Biological Resources and associated data will be made in strict compliance with your rights and the confidentiality attached to your data.

Unless you object, we will consider that you accept that the biological samples collected as part of your care and the associated data may be reused by the Montpellier University Hospital for research purposes or transferred to partners of the University Hospital for research purposes. research.
