After the defeat against Turin, D’Aversa was sacked: Giampaolo was ready in his place
After the 1-2 home defeat suffered by Sampdoria against Juric’s Turin, the bench of D’Aversa has definitely faltered. Fifteenth position for the Sampdoria, who with 20 points in 22 games are dramatically close to the relegation zone. To save the team, the management of the Ligurian club has chosen to sack D’Aversa, official news this morning. Another official feature seems to be a matter of hours, that of Marco’s return Giampaolo, former Turin coach. Currently, Giampaolo is still under contract with Toro, but the agreement for early termination seems to have arrived. The Piedmontese club will thus save the last money that from the contract belongs to Giulianova’s coach. In fact, the former coach perceived 1.5 million per season: the grenades will avoid giving him the remaining six months. The agreement between the parties is one step away and will be announced by Sampdoria.
