Samba TV, a leading provider of TV data technology, and Mediaplus, one of the leading media agencies in Germany, are bringing along AQIS+TV a new reporting dashboard on the market. This enables advertisers and publishers to achieve a higher return on investment (ROI) for their TV advertising budgets.
The two companies have already achieved mutual success by leveraging Samba TV’s linear TV viewership data from a data panel of millions of households for more effective omniscreen activation. The expansion of their partnership marks a new milestone in their collaboration for Samba TV and Mediaplus.
In response to growing market interest, Samba TV is increasing its TV data collection and measurement activities in Germany. The company’s technology is integrated into more than 20 smart TV brands and 48 million smart TVs worldwide. In Germany, Samba TV uses data from over 1.6 million Smart TV households, of which the representative data panel is more than 100 times larger than what most advertisers currently use. The panel covers both streaming and linear television and provides real-time ratings. Viewers can control participation in the Samba TV panel via their television, allowing content and advertising from linear television, video-on-demand (VOD) and streaming to be measured. This allows insights into users’ TV and streaming habits to be gained in order to improve programming and advertising decisions.
Mediaplus uses viewer data from Samba TV for holistic, cross-platform measurement and optimization of your TV and digital advertising. The new AQIS+TV-Reporting dashboard enables reach measurement and viewership insights using the data provided by Samba TV. This data is combined with information from large online panels to quantify reach and underrepresented audiences. Advertisers and publishers can optimize the combined impact of their TV and digital advertising to achieve better performance.
