Seya Co., Ltd. today released information on the basic operation methods, characters and levels of the Nintendo Switch™ exclusive game software “Samba de Amigo: Happy Shake Party”. This work is scheduled to be released on August 30, 2023 (Wednesday).
This work is a completely new work of the rhythm action game “Samba de Amigo”, which is very popular in arcades, Dreamcast and Wii, and anyone can easily enjoy it.
Use the Joy-Con of Nintendo Switch™ as a sandbell, and swing when the “rhythm ball” flying along with the music hits the frame! Dance or pose according to the instructions on the screen, and enjoy playing to the melody of popular songs!
More songs will be added in the form of paid downloadable content (DLC) after the game is released.
■ Pick up the legendary Shabell!
After starting the game, it will be confirmed whether you are eligible to pick up the Shabell. Concentrate on gripping the sandbell and accept the challenge!
After playing and teaching, the carnival will officially begin! High-five the Amigo, swing the sandbell and put on a show.
■Basic operation
In “Samba de Amigo: Happy Shake Party”, the rhythm ball will fly to the music, and when it enters the frame, you need to swing the Joy-Con equivalent to a shaker at a specific angle.
In addition to waving the Joy-Con to the rhythm, there are also “double-click” and “drag” to swing the Joy-Con with the icon, as well as the “pose icon” that needs to dance or pose according to the instructions.
“Dancing” that imitates various movements is the first addition to this series.
◆What is “emergency”
In “Samba de Amigo : Happy Shake Party”, the “emergency” element that allows players to pursue more intense performances is included.
Just touch the “?” rhythm ball that appears in the rhythm game, and the roulette will appear. Players must perform according to the items pointed to by the roulette wheel.
Roulette has more than 15 items! It includes a variety of content such as fitness exercises and hand dances and high fives that are common in Tik Tok. Successfully demonstrated gorgeous skills and brought surprises and touches to the audience!
Players can set whether to enable “emergencies” on the screen before the game starts.
■Play Difficulty
“Samba de Amigo : Happy Shake Party” includes 4 levels of difficulty. NORMAL, HARD, SUPER HARD, the above three are just to increase the difficulty of the game, but the new difficulty CRAZY, which is added for the first time in the series, will require players to keep dancing and pursue “crazy” performances.
