Samb, rejected the appeal by the Coni Guarantee College. No Serie C for the rossoblu

SAN BENEDETTO DEL TRONTO – After a long day, the verdict: bitter.

On the evening of July 26th the Coni Guarantee College rejected the appeal of the As Sambenedettese after the previous rejection of Covisoc which denied the granting of the License for participation in the 2021-22 Series C championship. No Lega Pro, therefore, for the rossoblu.

The hearing took place in Roma in the Coni hall of honor, the rossoblu president was present Roberto Renzi and the lawyer Cesare Di Cintio.

The appeals were also rejected Chievo Verona (B series), Novara, Carpi, Caserta (Lega Pro). Only Paganese’s appeal was accepted.

The Federal Council of the FIGC, scheduled at 11 am on 27 July, it will fill the gaps in the B and C teams.

At the moment there are no communications from the rossoblu company but surely a note will be released, shortly or in the next few hours.

During the Town Council of 26 July, at the town hall of San Benedetto, the mayor Pasqualino Piunti received a phone call from the president Roberto Renzi and the communication of the lack of registration in Lega Pro.

THE INDISCRIPTION FROM THE SPORT JOURNAL LITTLE BEFORE OFFICIALITY

“Chievo Verona today erases a long part of its history. The Coni College of Guarantee has in fact expressed itself on the club’s appeal on the official exclusion in the FIGC council after the rejection of Covisoc. But 5 out of 6 appeals from the companies that had been rejected the application for registration. Only the Paganese in C was saved. In addition to Chievo that greets the B, Carpi, Casertana, Novara e Sambenedettese“.

This is stated in a item published online at 9:36 pm on 26 July by the Gazzetta dello Sport signed by the journalist Nicola Binda.

“Failed clubs could have recourse to the TAR (but in an extreme case they could be readmitted in excess), in any case they will be able to start again from D” concludes the well-known national sports newspaper.
