British music icon of the 1980s and former Playboy star Samantha Fox, 58, was sentenced for the riot that happened last December on a flight from London to Munich. The singer and former glamor model managed to get into an argument with another passenger before the flight took off.
The plane was just about to take off, but in the end it didn’t even happen due to the singer’s behavior and it turned around on the runway of Heathrow airport. The passengers were asked to disembark and spend the night in a hotel, Samantha instead spent the night in a police cell.
Based on the court’s decision, Samantha Fox has to pay a fine in conversion of almost thirty thousand crowns, then 51 thousand must be paid as compensation to British Airways. The court also ordered her to undergo 25 days of alcohol treatment.
In addition, the star of the 80s threatened to kick out the policeman’s teeth on board the plane. She also faced accusations of assaulting her partner Linda Olsen. However, the charge was withdrawn before the trial began. Samantha Fox herself expressed remorse for her actions and confessed to drunkenness, disorderly conduct and threats. But she always denied the assault.
According to Samantha, the inappropriate behavior was caused by two large vodkas and a subsequent panic attack on board the plane.
