Samantha Fox created a surprise on Sunday by coming to sing her success Touch Me (I Want Your Body) on the set of Masked singersplaced under the theme of the 1980s. Stéphane Rousseau had a wonderful moment with the English singer who was displayed on one of the walls of his teenage bedroom.

Stéphane Rousseau was able to present to the singer a memory he had of her, when he had received her on his radio show.
Met backstage after her performance, Samantha Fox was delighted to be part of this show that she watches assiduously in England. “It’s a very popular franchise,” she said. I was supposed to take part in the show in Spain, I was delighted to be able to wear a costume, but COVID-19 arrived.

When she received the offer to participate in the Quebec version, she accepted immediately. “It’s also great to be back in Montreal, it’s a city that is close to my heart. I love the mix of cultures, it’s very similar to London in certain aspects. I come from a multicultural society. I went to school with people of Greek, Italian, Indian, etc. origin, so being here feels like home.”
Happy memories
Having become a world star in the mid-1980s, Samantha Fox has fond memories of that time.
“It was a lot of traveling, but it was my childhood dream. When I was little, I drew boats and dreamed of the voyages of Christopher Columbus. I always dreamed of traveling, but it’s true that I only stopped for one or two days in each city. Fortunately, I was able to return to several countries to visit in more depth.”
She also returned to the image that stuck to her because of the lyrics of her song Touch Me (I Want Your Body).
“I think first of all, this song touched people around the world, because even if you don’t know English well, everyone understands Kiss me, Touch me, Love me. Many have called this song sexy or gross, but I disagree. With my jeans and leather jacket, I wasn’t sweating sex as much as the Spice Girls were back then. People might have thought I was naughty or libertine, but I just need love.”
Projects
In addition to the release of a new album, which is already ready, the English star is preparing several related projects for the coming months. “I am going to produce a docu-reality where we follow me in my daily life, then we are going to make a fiction film about my life. It will first be presented on a major channel, and then on Netflix.
At the same time, the singer is also preparing an autobiography in which she will speak very openly. “I’m going to talk about the ups and downs of life. My life is a fairy tale, my destiny may not be ordinary, but my emotions are the same as everyone else.
