“The song and the video tell about different relationships between close people, which run through our lives in different stages,” says Samanta Tīna. “This relationship includes a relationship with his first schoolmate as a child, a best friend who kept a lot of secrets, a relationship with the man who had his first kiss and the story of his first love, which seemed to be the whole world in the past, and that there will never be a lover again, but in the course of life the paths have parted. It is also the story of the relationship with Dad and Mom, who we left when we grew up, the story of Grandma and Grandpa, who may no longer be in our lives, and also the story of a sister or brother who had to look after each other as a child, but now we are grown up and we no longer need our worries on a daily basis. Life changes us and changes places, even though it is sometimes dreamy, at the same time it is natural that we unknowingly leave each other’s way forward until we realize that – WE ARE NO MORE. ”
The producers of the single are both authors of the song, while the video was directed in collaboration with the company “Ai Production”, directed by Aiga Baikova. This was the first joint project of Samantha Tina and the mentioned company and the producer, which turned out to be an interesting and experienced collaboration. The video was filmed in seven different locations in Latvia. One of them is the new “outlet” village of the general sponsor of the video “Via Jurmala Outlet Village”, where the popular white picnic “L’elegante Pop-UP Picnic” took place during the filming, which is also depicted in the video. A special and mystical atmosphere prevailed during the filming of the Daugavgrīva fortress, which was completely transformed by the creative team of “Ābeļdārzs Burtnieki”, decorating and setting it up as a romantic table with candlesticks and candles.
The operator of the video version of “WE ARE NO MORE” is Ritvars Bluka, the finalists of the contest “Miss Latvia”, as well as the author of the single music Ingars Viļums and Samanta Tīna are especially and dear people – the singer’s sister and one of her closest friends Kašers.
