The singer Samanta Tīna has responded to the statement of the former Minister of Education and Science, Anita Muižniece, that she regularly disturbs the ex-minister’s night’s rest with her singing.
Samantha explains her side of the situation in short Instagram stories: “Our esteemed ex-minister has been living here for a short time, and really, when I was singing one night, and I put my hand on my heart, I’ve never disturbed anyone’s peace after 11 p.m., that to me is the law, there was a bell at the door.”
“She says that the children should go to bed, that it is very loud, after which I also react. I don’t remember whether I stopped or finished half an hour, 20 minutes [vēlāk] half as quiet. It was also the second time – I ended up doing it again, so I responded to these requests,” says the singer.
“I wanted to go to the neighbor who has complaints, who has to express her pain in the media, trying to find some kind of common conversation, a middle ground on which we can agree. She said – no!” claims the singer.
I went with an open heart and nothing came of it,
that singer.
“I wish her the best, I’ll try my best, but at home I’ll sing now and then, I’ll really try to be quiet,” promises Samantha Tina.
