Samain Club: a night of musical fusions and traditions in Valladolid – Palencia en la Red

The Terracampino record label SAMAIN MUSIC prepares the stage for its second event at the Cientocero Hall of Valladolid, presenting the long-awaited Samain Club. This vibrant musical gathering, which will take place on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., will be led by the emerging national group Casapalma. The duo, born in Cabuérniga (Cantabria) and composed of Irene on vocals and Yoel in charge of production, keyboards and guitars, promises a unique sound experience with their debut album “MONTAÑESAS”, recently released on the prestigious Raso label, known for releasing music from artists like Baiuca.

Casapalma, whose musical proposal fuses mountain folklore, jazz and contemporary styles of electronic and urban music, has conquered successful playlists nationwide, highlighting its presence on Spotify’s FRESH FINDS.

The event will not only feature the outstanding performance of Casapalma, but will also be the setting for the presentation of the next EP by Jotas electronica or Jota Bass by Castora Herz DJ, founder of Samain Music. Under the name “This is Jota”, the Palencia DJ will offer a unique presentation with cameos and surprises that will elevate the musical experience of the night.

The party does not end in the Sala Cientocero, since the celebration will continue at the Bar Matilda with the presentation of “FOLKTRONICA IBERICA” by the Palencia DJ Alarico III, also known for his pictorial work as Fumantwo. The DJ’s proposal will fuse the roots music of different peninsular places with a wide range of electronic elements, promising an unforgettable sound experience.

In addition to music, Samain Club will offer various activities for attendees, such as a guided tour of the Joaquín Díaz Foundation, a renowned ethnographic center and museum of Iberian instruments. Workshops will also be held where participants can learn to play Iberian percussions such as the tambourine and tambourine, dance jotas or flamenco, and participate in an introductory course to flamenco rhythm.

The event will include a Solstice Songs concert on December 13 at 9:00 p.m. at the Café Teatro and an open meeting called FOLKGORIO, scheduled for December 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Bar Matilda, where everyone is invited to play, sing and dance traditional songs of our ancestors. Samain Club promises to be a multi-sensory experience, celebrating the musical diversity and rich cultural traditions of the region.
