In her most recent appearance, Sama Al-Masry appeared in a video clip wearing a red dancing galabiya to perform a belly dance performance to the tunes of an Egyptian popular song.
Sama Al-Masry had sparked controversy by mocking her compatriot, the artist Mohamed Ramadan, against the backdrop of the suspended pilot’s crisis, as she wrote in her blog post: “Is the legend going to apply the bullying that is in movies and TV series to people in reality or not?? Come back to your senses, Habisha, and surrender yourself because the whole place is under siege.. You have come out of a pipe, not a legend.. Brother?
