Since his debut album “In The Lonely Hour” (2014), Sam Smith’s achievements include 35 million album sales, 45 billion streams on music streaming sites, four “Grammy” awards, three “BRIT” awards, six “MOBO”, “Gold globe”, “Oscar”, two no. 1 album, five no. 1 single, two nos. 1 as lead singer in “Naughty Boy” (“La La La”, 2013) and Calvin Harris (“Promises”).
Sam Smith’s latest album Gloria, due out January 27, is billed as “the artist’s boldest and most outspoken effort to date, following the massive success of ‘Unholy'”.
Also next year the “Positivus” festival will take place in Riga, Lucavsala. The festival will be held for two days – July 14th and July 15th. It will no longer be a tent city.
