Salzburg has given goalkeeper Carlos Coronel to the sister club New York Red Bulls. The 24-year-old Brazilian will transfer to the Major League Soccer club trained by Gerhard Struber from Salzburg by the end of the year, as the Bundesliga leader announced on Friday.
Coronel still has a contract with Salzburg until 2023. He has so far played eleven competitive games for Salzburg. As a substitute goalkeeper for Cican Stankovic, the German Nico Mantl, who was brought in in winter, is now on the bench.
