Full-back Rasmus Kristensen faces an early end of season at Red Bull Salzburg. As Austria’s champions announced on Monday, the Dane suffered a muscle injury in the left thigh in the test against WSG Swarovski Tirol on Friday (1-1) and will be missing for around four weeks.
The 23-year-old Danish coach Jesse Marsch is not only not available in the cup final against Austria Lustenau (Friday), but could also be canceled for the rest of the entire championship (from June 3).
Kristensen was absent from Salzburg in mid-December, first because of a knee injury, then because of problems in the right thigh. The 22-year-old Dane has played 17 competitive games for the series champion since he moved in the summer.
