“Salzburg Chamber Choir to Perform Magnificat on Long Night of Churches 2023”

Event Notice – Mary’s biblical song of praise, the Magnificat, has inspired composers of all ages. The Salzburg Chamber Choir will perform this song of praise on Friday, June 2nd at 8 p.m. in the Church of St. Paul in Salzburg as part of the Long Night of Churches 2023. The program includes works by Purcell, Palestrina, Cozzolani, Schütz and Monteverdi. Admission to the concert is free. Before the concert there will be an introduction from 7.10pm to 7.40pm by Mag. Birgit Esterbauer-Peiskammer, theologian and liturgy officer of the Archdiocese of Salzburg.
