Barriers and bollards at the swimming pool entrance are perceived as dangerous. At the back, at the Ignaz-Rieder-Kai, a bicycle road is supposed to help.
40 people from Salzburg responded immediately to a call by Stadt Nachrichten to name dangerous spots for cyclists.
The precarious situation in and around the Volksgarten was a topic on several occasions. On the Ignaz-Rieder-Kai, for example, many cyclists come from Aigen in the direction of the city at the level of the tennis court in the narrow street (parallel to the quay) instead of staying on the road with their cars. The consequences: There are constant critical situations with walkers and dog owners (leashes!).
