(ANSA) – PALERMO, 17 NOV – Salvuccio Riina, 47 years old, the third son of the former leader of the Sicilian mafia, Totò, with a post on Instagram pays homage to his father who died in prison on 17 November 2017 with a framed photo of Corleonese mafioso with a vase with two red roses next to him. Salvuccio Riina writes paying attention to capital letters: “He lived, lives and will always live in Us and with Us”. The post has so far obtained 431 likes and dozens of comments such as “A great man with true family values. Each of us fights his own war for his family”, “Great men are definitely not born like him anymore”, ” Totò the unbeatable and unique”. Salvuccio Riina, who married a Spanish woman last June, with celebrations in Corleone, served a sentence of 8 years and 10 months for mafia association, money laundering and extortion. Once released from prison he lived between Veneto and Abruzzo, admitted to the social services foster care regime, a journey undertaken with the Association of Families Against Drugs, he finished his studies and graduated.
