The integration direction benefited dozens of families from the municipalities of Soyapango, Ilopango and Panchimalco, giving them the opportunity to experience an afternoon of fun to watch a movie, at the Plaza Mundo Apopa Multicinema, as part of the project «Art and Entertainment World» which will allow many communities to visit this type of facility for the first time for free and live the complete experience of watching a movie in the cinema.
The project aims to provide children, young people and adults with limited resources the opportunity to visit entertainment venues and enjoy each surprise at no cost. Likewise, promote healthy recreation, since it is one of the keys to the reconstruction of the Social Fabric.
«I didn’t have this opportunity before»highlighted Berta Cortéz, beneficiary of the program, who also mentioned being infected by the joy of the children when visiting the facilities for the first time.
The project is aimed at different communities that for years have suffered stigmatization and that, due to different circumstances, were limited to visiting recreational places.
The integration directorate highlighted that the initiative is intended to be carried out every Monday in San Miguel, Sonsonate and Chalatenango, which will be the next beneficiary departments. Likewise, the institution reiterated that it is intended to develop the plan at the national level.
