Casa Rosemberg will open in a beautiful townhouse in the Ondina neighborhood, in Salvador, next Thursday (26). With the concept of cool luxury, the gallery house was created by the couple Silvana Rosemberg and Cesar Magalhães to meet the demand of a public that admires high-end design furniture and elegance in table settings, beds and bathrooms.
Interior designer and business administrator with extensive experience in the furniture, decoration and hospitality segment, the businesswoman developed the concept alongside her husband, an advertising and marketing professional.
“I always thought that people shouldn’t go and buy just to buy, nor should stores sell just for the sake of selling. Of course, every company is supported by the good business it does, but I believe that experience needs to be valued. That’s why we created the gallery house, so that anyone who visits us can also get to know the house, its history, have a coffee, exchange experiences and, in this context, appreciate what we chose to be in the environments”, highlights Silvana in an interview with Alô Alô Bahia.
The property where Casa Rosemberg is located was built in the 70s by the couple Eloysa and José Novaes, but follows an architectural style inspired by the colonial baroque of the 18th century. “The house was in excellent condition. We just occasionally adapt some details to welcome our visitors, such as installing an elevator”, says the businesswoman. Fun fact: both she and Cesar had admired the property for many years, before they even met.
Silvana and Cesar are businesspeople and have been dealing with clients forever, each in their own area of expertise. She has extra focus on refined curation and he is responsible for marketing and branding. In common, they know the importance of generating connections and promoting meetings.
Therefore, in addition to receiving visitors organically, they will regularly promote events related to themes such as architecture, design, art and the like.
“Our focus is to provide an interesting experience for each customer, in a unique way. For example: our kitchen will be dedicated to gastronomic events, even with guest chefs and a coffee space, designed in this way to promote more informal meetings. This matches the positioning of cool luxury and hospitality”, says Cesar.
The idea is to sell, always exclusively, signed Brazilian furniture, from renowned brands such as Uultis, which recently opened a store in Miami; Salva, specialized in leather designed by renowned designers; Modalle, which develops luxury, signed and handmade furniture; in addition to other brands with furniture awarded by the Design Award and present at the Salone Del Mobile in Milan.
The development will also have bed, table and bath brands that will occupy special spaces. The list includes Trussardi, Charada Conceito, of made-to-measure trousseaus for the bedroom; the award-winning Riva, specializing in utilitarian and multifunctional objects in gold, silver and stainless steel; and the desired porcelain from the Portuguese brand Vista Alegre, among others.
“The curation will be constant. I have been studying the Salvador market for a long time and these choices of brands and products were made to meet the public’s desire for items with quality, design, history and social commitment”, reflects Silvana. All selected brands follow the ESG pillars, as does the house, which was designed to meet these principles.
