From the Immunization Program of the Ministry of Public Health they reported that the third reinforcement of the COVID-19 vaccine in Salta, the fifth dose, is now available in hospitals, health centers and mobile vaccination posts.
This new application is aimed at:
- All people over the age of 50
- Over 18 years of age with some risk conditions such as:
- Type 1 or 2 diabetes
- Grade 2 or 3 obesity
- Chronic cardiovascular disease
- chronic respiratory diseases
- Cirrhosis
- Active tuberculosis
- Down syndrome or intellectual and developmental disabilities
Over 12 years of age with immunocompromised such as:
- Solid and oncohematological tumors
- Transplanted in immunosuppressive treatment
- Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
- Chronic renal failure on hemodialysis
- Autoimmune diseases and / or treatments
- Moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency
- Active treatment with immunosuppressive drugs
Pregnant people (at any time during pregnancy)
- Healthcare personnel
- People who reside or work in closed or long-term institutions
- We inform you that this reinforcement will be applied with a minimum interval of four months, after the last inoculation.
