Preventive for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) disease will be funded
for Utahns, as reported by the County Department of Health
from Salt Lake.
Since last January 27, the authorities offer the HIV prevention medicine called “PREP” in their clinics where they treat sexually transmitted diseases.
“PREP” would help
prevent the spread of the virus up to 90% in people who are
sexually active with different partners, as well as in a
70% of those who inject drugs, according to the Control and Prevention Center
of diseases.
